Selkie Knitwear is an independent knitwear brand taking shape around a simple idea: a beautifully knitted hood can make everyday dressing feel special.

Small by design

Our starting point is a focused family of hoods and balaclavas, from softly fitted everyday shapes to more sculptural silhouettes. Rather than making more for the sake of it, we’re developing distinctive pieces with attention to texture, fit and finishing.

Natural fibers, thoughtful choices

We’re exploring merino and alpaca for their softness, warmth and drape. Sampling is part of the process: the way a yarn wears and holds its shape matters as much as how it looks. Check individual product listings for final fiber compositions and care instructions.
